Hello friends. It's time we shared some news. We are experiencing (since 6/29) what is called an "active catastrophe". There are multiple washouts, tornado damage, flood situations, landslides and general devastation impacting too many of our friends and neighbors. We remain open daily (10-5) as we have been since 1934. M-119 is currently open between Harbor and Terpening Road as well as between Robinson and Island View Roads. We are so grateful to those of you who are still making the effort to visit and spend your valuable dollars with us. Thank you. Our hearts go out to our displaced neighbors who have lost or are losing their homes, overworked contractors working around the clock to help, tired utility and state crews trying their best with repairs and solutions, our hands-on legislators offering critical support, local and state law enforcement who have been actively assisting, and to all impacted. This is devastation on levels we never could have imagined and certainly a situation no one could fathom just a year away from a once in a lifetime ice storm and just months since a 100 year flood event. No storm photos for now - instead a nice pretty photo of a beautiful blue sky on Monday afternoon, after the storm. Thank you for reading and for sharing and we hope to see you real soon.
